Mitchell Electronics

Mitchell Electronics are a company dedicated to designing amd manufacturing products for the motion control industry and have been running since 1979.

I’ve been working with Mitchell Electronics for a number of years to develop in-house management tools to improve their working practices and efficiency.

In house tools we have built:

• A tool to help collect, manage and analyse the data coming from their hardware, as well as manage payments and software updates.

• A tool to help track and manage defects that occur inside and outside of the company and to ensure they are all followed up, integrating with third party services and using the latest web technologies so it is fast and efficient to use.

All of these tools have extensive unit tests to ensure that the essential customer facing APIs will not break and that customers will have the best experience possible.

I have also helped update and maintain their existing Wordpress website as well as manage their web hosting, ensuring they all have regular security updates while maintaining a high uptime. We employ several uptime monitoring solutions to alert us as soon as anything happens.
